Burberry: Art of the Trench

The history has never been so classy! This year, the world-renowned Burberry trench coat freshens up its British heritage story under the concept, ‘The Art of Trench.’ The 156-year history of this timeless coat speaks loud enough for its prestigious craftsmanship and ageless style that it has become one of concrete definitions of ‘classic’. Check your closet if you have one of these tempting coat yet because it, no doubt, can be a closet essential for every girl!

Embrace my Thai-ness

That's my super mommy right there!
People tend to reminisce…

Once in a while, they wander back to their past, searching for those piled up memories. And sometimes they try to put that memory into a concrete form. In this case of my mom, the form is “me”

Haha yes my mom dressed me up with her old Thai-style skirt which she claimed “can’t fit her” anymore. It’s made of Thai silk, embroidered with golden thread for the elegant touch. I kinda like it. We can rarely see people wear this kind of clothes now a day. Today is an exception. We have a big merit-making festival at the temple and she decided it’s the perfect time to get “traditional” and be “ladylike.” Haha. So yeah, I rarely behave this femininely. This would be one of those rare moments.

Baby, let's go on a road trip

I get excited pretty much every time I go on a road trip, even on a really short one. I guess I just have that wanderer blood running around my body. And whenever I'm on the go, the outfit is one of the most serious issues for me ever, haha. (Well of course, we are fashionistas, aren't we?) I try to keep my outfit earnest and appropriate for the course. But you don't have to sacrifice style for earnest. Never sacrifice style for anything, actually. lol. Try adding your own gimmick into your outfit and you get that effortless stylish look without looking too much.

Here I  was on a trip to Kao Yai which is a group of hamlets in the mountain, 3 hours away from Bangkok. If you feel that you've inhaled too much CO2 in the city, this is a perfect place for a quick getaway. As you all know, I'm a fan of a playful yet feminine look. I like to give my outfit just a little touch of boyish feel while still looking chic and sexy. And I'm a big fan of denim. So here I went with denim on denim outfit. Finish the look with a worn-out pair of Converse for the traveller look. You can't possibly do anything on a trip with heels on, so be realistic and appropriate. And yep, there goes another look from me.

I'm gonna say goodbye with this quote I found really inspiring.

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page." - St. Augustine.

Be energetic and never stop exploring the world lady.

Tu'i at ELLE Fashion Week 2012

A Runway update from Tu'i at ELLE Fashion Week AW2012
It's got everything it possibly could...

the rush
the hardship
the conflict
the breath-taking moments
the success
and the relief

Being both a  crew and a guest widened my perspective on fashion industry and gave me a clearer picture of who I am, what I like and where I'm going next. But all in all, it was the great experience that no many fresh graduates will get, so I'm pretty much thankful for it. And here is the result of the show I've been working on for months. Tu'i & the Gypsies AW2012 Collection. Enjoy.

...............................................

Last post of me being a guest at other shows of EFW. I paired my denim vest with high-waist lace shorts, with a pop of fuchsia from by Tu'i bag and Bershka heels. Leave me a comment if you love the look! xoxo

In the mean time... Stay pretty,

Let The Fashion Week Begin

Dess: Sretsis
Bag: Tu'i

One of the most sensational things about new season for fashionistas like us is probably the fashion week that pops up at every corner of the world. New York, Paris, Milan, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, to name a few. I was lucky enough to attend the press conference of Bangkok' biggest fashion event, ELLE Fashion Week which will be held on the October 11 to 14. Here are a glimpse of the conference. And also a snap of what I was wearing. My bag, Avaloni from Tu'i was in the limelight since it was pretty much the only thing my friend was crazy about. Ostrich plume, darling. Tell me it isn't adorable. <3

14 shows in 4 days this October. The brands that would be featured are 27 FRIDAY / CURATED BY EK THONGPRASERT / HOOK’S BY PRAPAKAS / KEMISSARA / KWANKAO / MILIN / PAINKILLER / PLAYHOUND / PURINUTT / SENADA / SOMETHING BOUDOIR / THEATRE / THE CONTEMPORARIST BY OCAC / TU’I / VATANIKA / VATIT ITTHI. Stay tuned with Fashion Nectar for a real time updates from runway and prepared to be 'wow-ing' with the power of Thai designer. I know nothing gets you girls pumped like being the first to lead a fresh new trend. So don't leave the front row before the shows end.

Sensual sense

'I LOVE CHANEL'
New beauty video as a tribute to Erwin Blumenfeld, a famous fashion photographer in the early 20th century. The video is directed by Solve Sunsbo, starring Rouge Allure. I doubt that anyone wouldn't be mesmerized by this, really. Purely stunning and so sexy!

Can you guess who's the model?

Back to the 50's

Pepsi: Open Happiness... wait, what? :P

I always get that heart-pumping feeling when I step into any kinds of old-school cafe. Childish, right? I know. But I can't help it. I easily fall in love with this kinds of charm. The 50's cafe with Black N' White floor tile, Colorful sofa, License plate on the wall, Jukebox, Fluorescent light, Coca Cola machine... Perfectly represent the early era of Consumerism!

and of course, the milkshake!

So American, isn't it?

Oh anyone, take me back in time. I'd love to be one of those waitresses in swing dress and roller skate <3 Maybe I should do some style tips on 50's fashion, good idea no?

Autumn Garden - Quirky Caps with Sweet Details

The moment I opened the paper bag, thoroughly painted with the logo 'JONG,' I mindlessly jumped up and down as I found this cute cap. And no, the reason I love it isn't because I got it for free (come on people!!) And also not because the designer is one of my dearest friend, Mee.

I love it purely because of the creativity, design, and daintiness she poured into her design. JONG has just recently established. The brand's sub line, 'JONG Pova' is a line that focuses on accessories. The debut collection, 'Autumn Garden,' is featuring the unique handmade cap, all hand-sewn, with a kicky touch of lace, stud, fur.

This is sand cemelia, a brown cap, spray-painted into a garden pattern she drew by herself, specially made for me as a present for my belated birthday. Much love for this hat and for Mee herself, of course. I cannot stretch enough how much this girl mean to me.

Please show some love to this local and independent talent at

Because girl friends never let each other go.
I'm sure you all will do anything for your bestie too, right girls?
